The costume itself was $55 plus shipping (and keep in mind, this is a likely a wear once kind of thing) and the cape that came with was an extra $40. I can sew a cape. So I did. Voila! I did a great job I think. Now I'm going to make a fru-fru one for my friend's little girl for dress up play. I wonder if there is a business need for a cape designer. Talk about a niche business.

Here's my cape...I used a sparkle fabric to look like armour. he put it on and said, "look mommy's clothes." I guess because it's black and sparkly.
