Ahh, Flowers

When I win the lottery, write my best selling novel, have a talk show, and/or sell my screen play, I will surround myself with flowers. I will grow flowers, pick flowers, arrange flowers, do flowers for other people, visit gardens around the globe, etc. I share with you now some arrangements that have made me very happy of late.

The first is one I knocked out with Kroger flowers (yes, Kroger, I live near the fancy-schmancy Kroger) on the 4th of July in red,white, and blue. My son added the flag flair. And then, today at work, I received the extraordinary "just because" arrangement from a friend. Love those peacock feathers and the vase. I'll be re-purposing that vase no doubt! Nothing like an out of the blue arrangement to perk you up.

Just because it comes in your size...

Just because they make it in your size, doesn't mean you should wear it!

I present to you a size 3X leopard print, zipper down the front, tube top. I mean, seriously Macy's?

My size 2 friends would have difficulty puling this off, but a larger woman? I wonder what the Vietnamese think when they are making all these garments. Those are some freaky big women over there in the U S of A.

And no. I did not buy it.
